This non-stick silicone
baking mat has become one of the most important tools in the kitchen!
Nothing goes in my oven without a Silpat underneath it! I bake cookies,
roast vegetables, even make bacon on my Silpat! A couple years ago we were
having our Ice Cream Social here at the store, and someone set a bag of
lollipops on the glass-top stove. Well, the stove was on, and those
lollipops melted along with their wrappers and the plastic bag. What a mess
- right? Wrong! Fortunately for us, there had been a silpat sitting on the
stove, and that gooey mess of lollipop and plastic peeled right off (after
it cooled, of course!) Saved our stove, and a whole lot of time!
